August 8 2007: Today an un-sourced remark was added to the bottom of the article about a specific case involving the exclusion of a pupil after a fight. I do not see how this is appropriate for this encyclopaedia article because: 1. the criticism isn't sourced. 2. focussing on one pupil is not informative about the school and its long history and current achievements 3. is probably subjective on the part of the writer and so is inadmisable by Wikipedia. July 2006 Somebody has edited the page to say that the school is a Woodard School. This is in fact Derby High School in Derby. I have removed this error. Derby Dave 15:53, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Just wondered when the school started using red ties for prefects. This wasn't the case in 1981 when I left. Derbydave 09:09, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Derby-Bury Church Rivalry

I disagree that it is intense. There have been occasions when certain pupils of both schools have acted badly but it seems much more like a friendly rivalry. Boico101 (talk) 00:08, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
