- Comment. I've responded to your comments on my user's talk page. I then spotted a 'move' tab which allowed me to rename the article to its preferred title, so I tried this and it worked. I have also tidied up the references --Dcuwebmaster (talk) 11:29, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Dates
[edit]- Comment. I notice that Bencherlite has changed all the dates and 'century' references to the American standard. However, as this is the English Wikipedia and the article concerned is with an English society written by an Englishman, it would be so much more appropriate to use the standard English format as used in the UK. I would therefore with great respect like to revert to that usage.
- Huh? I think, if you look carefully, that I did no such thing. Wikipedia simply does not use formats such as "1st January 2000", so I removed all "st"s, "nd"s, "rd"s, and "th"s after numbers in dates. The UK version of dates used on Wikipedia is "1 January 2000". The American format would be "January 1, 2000". Please read MOS:DATE#Dates if this is unclear to you. Inserting the DCU Logo
[edit]Many thanks to Eastmain for inserting an Infobox in my article for the logo. Being new to Wikipedia, I was having difficulty in understanding the rules about the image copyright issues, as well as the sizing aspects. Dcuwebmaster (talk) 15:20, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
