Edit reversions

I noticed that Velella reverted a recent edit by GHtr6543. It appears that this is happening on multiple pages. I think some explanation would be good, as at least one of the many references reverted appears to be from a peer reviewed journal. N.B., I am going to remove the unsigned comment from 2012 about deleting this page. Ldm1954 (talk) 09:19, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Ldm1954 -One user using several different user names has been persistently adding what appears to be their own publications to a whole swathe of pages. This is both a conflict of interest and citation spamming both of which are strongly deprecated on Wikipedia. Many of the reference additions had only the peripheral relevance to the text that they were supposed to support.  Velella  ^{Velella Talk}   09:37, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
