Proposed Malaysia section

[edit]

The article currently has limited international coverage. I suggest adding a short Malaysia section explaining the use of letters of demand in Malaysian civil disputes.

In Malaysia, a Letter of Demand (LOD) is commonly used before commencing civil proceedings, including for unpaid debts, outstanding rent, breach of contract and claims for damages. Malaysian courts have also considered the evidential implications of failing to respond to a letter of demand in certain circumstances.
