Owners?

[edit]

Do we know who owns the place now - or anyone who has owned it since 2007? When we mention the original owners and the sale as early as the lead section, we leave the reader begging a bit for the current owners' names. For a restaurant that has been open for only 25 years, 13 years of ownership history seems like a detail we would want to include. The history information comes across as a little random, but I think this detail could at least help with that. I looked around a bit and didn't find it. Larry Hockett, Great question! I did not come across this in my research, but would definitely support adding mention of other owners as possible based on sourcing. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:40, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Images

[edit]

@Dhtwiki: Thanks for flagging the issue re: image collision with References. I am not a fan of galleries, though. I've converted the images back to thumbs. If there's still collision with the References, I'm happy to just remove one of the image in the last section. ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:51, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Whatever you did has fixed the problem. The images do impinge on the references section, forcing a two-column format, but there's no longer any common overwriting of reference and image-caption texts on my wide-screen iMac (and they look fine on my phone, as well). Spoken Wikipedia

[edit]

@Opencooper: I think the spoken Wikipedia recording you've removed is better than nothing. Why did you remove? Has there been a discussion about these being problematic? ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:06, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

For anyone else watching, see discussion here. I only listened to the first three paragraphs, but the cadence is horrible on this specific recording, and it gets words like "hushpuppies" and "beignets" wrong. Opencooper (talk) 04:53, 20 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
