Incorrect film synopsis

The movie's plot, according to this article, is incorrect. It is not Ellie Seldes (Mary Beth Hurt) who is brutally murdered and it is not Steven Seldes (J.T. Walsh) who is arrested at film's end for the crime. It is Steven who is murdered and Ellie who is eventually arrested for it. Steven is killed in the film's first act and despite the plot summary here, he is not alive for the duration of the film. Ellie is a major character and is not killed early on as the plot describes.
