Note on the Dead Source
[edit]It seems that the document's details can be found here if you search it's ID 'CA 1533'. The NAA says here that accessing 'not examined' records requires contacting them directly. Also that ID page says the document is from 13th of Jun 1989, so it cannot have been the source for the statement "Australian troops deploying to Afghanistan and Iraq were briefed by DIO on enemy weapons and forces."

[edit]Please note the correct spelling of defence/defense in this context is defence, as this is an article about an Australian organisation and hence follows British, not American, spelling. See here for more information. DirectEdge 23:35, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit]DirectEdge, after the Herald made inquiries into the Wikiscanner scandal at the Department of Defence, the department said it would ban Defence staff from accessing the encyclopedia. Why are you still editing Wikipedia?
