DIDs are URIs

Currently, the article reads: "DIDs are URLs that associate a DID subject with a DID document ..."

I don't believe this is correct per the DID v1.0 proposed recommendation. As noted there: "DIDs are URIs that associate a DID subject with a DID document ..."; addressing the document may require a URL (but not necessarily given the advent of information-centric networking), but the DID itself is not location oriented, i.e. it's not a URL.

Not regarding myself amongst the world's DID experts, I thought I'd raise this on the Talk page for confirmation before editing the article. --Psheld (talk) 12:32, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

"They are an important component of decentralized web applications." This is an aspirational, forward-looking statement and should probably be removed.
