Lead rewrite

[edit]

See MOS:LEAD for purpose of the lead. It provides an accessible overview to the whole article. Information in the lead should be in the body of the article too. See WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY. Consequently, I have tagged this article's lead section as needing to be rewritten because it needs to be updated for the 2024 murder convictions of two cadets responsible for the subject's death and it also has extra information about the subject being "laid to rest", which I presume is a Philippine English EUPHEMISM for his burial. While I see this term is used by the newspaper headlines, I don't see why Wikipedia needs to also do so, especially if one can say it more concisely and precisely as "buried with full military honors" instead. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 01:13, 17 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Reorganise in chronological order

[edit]

Biographies should be presented in chronological order from birth to death. At present, the article is hard to follow as it seems like it has been written backwards as the news reports have come out. Nobody has attempted to put the facts in a time order to show cause and effect. So this article needs reorganizing to follow MOS:CHRONOLOGICAL. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 01:13, 17 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
