Personally I have been a fan of Palladium books for over a decade. That being said back when Dead Reign first came out there was a lot of controversy to the point of threads getting locked and deleted on Palladium's forums. Said Controversy had kept me away from playing the setting. Recently a friend introduced elements of Dead Reign into a Rifts game. Trying to find out more about the setting I tried here. All I found was a line about how it was Palladium's game about a Zombie apocalypse and nothing else. As the page was in danger of being deleted I decided to expand on the games history and both the origional and the official settings. Using several search engines I have not been able to find much in the way of Reliable unbiased Data about the controversy at the games first publishing. What I can find online has been mostly bashing of Siembiedia by people with a seriously biased view of the man. I have been looking for my copies of The Rifter # 40 & 45 to see if they have anything that can untangle the mess that is the games origions. Unfortunatly I can't find my copies. As far as the official game goes it is going to be a couple of months before i can get the game and it's sourcebooks and organize and write a section on the game.Paulwharton (talk) 10:37, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
