References/inline citations added

[edit]

I added references with inline citations and removed the unref. tag.

Information about the theft is plentiful and tempting (I could have gone on a lot longer), but more information about the actual gem, and its gifting to the Museum, is what's needed to round out this article. Also, a pic. of the subject would add something. Richigi (talk) 04:41, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I recently took a photo of the DeLong ruby at the NY Museum of Natural History. The photo is mine, but the ruby of course belongs to the museum. Can I post my photo here, or does the museum's ownership of the ruby mean that the museum also owns the copyright to the photo I took? Thank you for answering.
