If this means something other than

Zoppetti only writes in a second language, Japanese.

Writing exclusively in Japanese, Zoppetti is thus an exophonic writer, considered part of the J-Literature movement (J-Literature refers to Japanese literature of the 1990s, particularly novels on street life in urban Japan.)

That's more or less explained "J-literature" (which I hadn't heard of, but is a thing); however, the rest still seems odd. How about:

Zoppetti's works are all in Japanese (a second language for him), and are considered "J-literature", a genre of Japanese-language novels that emerged in the 1990s, primarily about street life in urban Japan.
