Date of birth

An edit was made today by User:Jenosch to indicate that Rubinger was born on 26 December 1924. Although the date may well be correct, I could locate no source for this date, all articles I found merely gave the year of birth (1924). I have therefore asked User:Jenosch to identify his source but, for the time being, I have not removed reference to the newly inserted date. Davshul (talk) 21:35, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Photography, photojournalism, and communications

According to content on the Hebrew Wikipedia page, my edits today incorporate some factual clarifications. In particular: David Rubinger was the first photographer and photojournalist to be awarded the Israel Prize. The category was Communications, created that same year (1997) and also awarded to TV broadcaster Haim Yavin.
