- Support. The numeral on its own is meaningless. David IV of what? The nickname rectifies this somewhat. Srnec (talk) 02:03, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose Cognomens of monarchs should be used cautiously, I doubt it he has a common name in English. If people feel bald "David IV" is unhelpful, he should be "David IV of Georgia". PatGallacher (talk) 00:46, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
