Conflict of Interest and unreliable sources for serious claims
A edit was published which states that David Franj commited hate speech on social media by a anonymous account. These claims were sourced by broken links to Facebook. I am not sure if these links were always broken however. A temporary account reverted these changes, only for it to be unreverted by various members of the community. A account sharing the same name as David Franj again removed these claims. Mustbeotherwise (talk) 18:05, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
- This speculation is dangerously libellous. Unless there are legally verified, published sources with evidence a person is in fact guilty of hate speech, innuendo in such posts and open discussions in these edit sections is highly misleading. Any person should not have the onus or burden of having to defend themselves after the fact when libellous, unsubstantiated, unchecked claims are so easily put forward. To state 'conflict of interest' when a party amends false and unchecked allegations is further injury to the person being targeted. I strongly suggest that unless there is factual legally sourced and based evidence displaying that a person, in this case David Franj, is guilty of hate-speech, then any innuendo and discussions on this profile should immediately be wiped. In my opinion, David Franj should seek legal advice for criminal defamation against wikipedia and certain contributors. Montana Maguire (talk) 01:57, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

Songwriting Credits, Industry Airplay Records, and Media Recognition 1. Official Songwriting Credits (APRA AMCOS & Industry Databases) Current records on major platforms frequently omit David Franj’s collaborative work with international and domestic industry leaders. Primary music registry data (APRA AMCOS) confirms David Franj (registered as David Frangiosa) as a key contributor to the following: Vanessa Amorosi – "Perfect" (2008): Co-written by David Franj and Vanessa Amorosi. Collaborations: Industry documentation confirms songwriting sessions and credits involving Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Matthew Gerrard (multi-platinum producer), Rick Price, and Jon Stevens. Source: APRA AMCOS Works Search / Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) Catalog. 2. Landmark Achievement: "Most Played Australian Work of the Decade" There is a significant distinction between "Highest Charting" (Sales) and "Most Played" (Airplay). David Franj holds a milestone that is often incorrectly categorized or overlooked: The Record: "Perfect" (co-written by Franj) was officially identified by APRA AMCOS as the Most Played Australian Work on Australian Radio for the decade of 2000–2009. Context: While the song reached #4 on the ARIA Singles Chart, its longevity in broadcast airplay surpassed every other domestic release over a ten-year period. Verification: This status was confirmed in 2010 industry wrap-ups and APRA AMCOS retrospective reports (not to be confused with the 2010–2019 decade list). 3. Public Profile and Media Presence David Franj’s influence extends into lifestyle and fashion media, which serves as a metric for his public profile (Notability). Fashion Recognition: Franj has been featured in high-profile style reviews and fashion editorials, appearing alongside figures such as George Clooney and Henry Cavill. Significance: These citations from reputable style and news outlets (News Corp, Billboard, Style archives) demonstrate a cross-industry impact that warrants inclusion in a comprehensive biography. 4. Conclusion for Editorial Review The rejection of these edits on community-led platforms constitutes a failure of Verifiability. The data is not anecdotal; it is hosted in the legal databases of APRA AMCOS and within the digital archives of Billboard and News Corp. Recommendation: We formally request that David Franj’s biography be updated to reflect these validated credits. Specifically, the "Most Played Song of the Decade" record should be listed as a primary career milestone, and co-writing credits for Bettencourt, Gerrard, Price, and Stevens should be reinstated based on APRA registration numbers. Quick Links for Proof APRA AMCOS Awards Archive: 2009 Most Played Award (The year "Perfect" won the annual precursor to the decade record). The following information serves to clarify and correct the professional record of David Frangiosa, also professionaly known as David Franj, regarding his contributions to the music industry and his presence in the media. Primary music registry data from APRA AMCOS and the Universal Music Publishing Group catalog confirms that he is a key songwriter for the Vanessa Amorosi track Perfect. Furthermore, official industry documentation verifies his collaborative work and songwriting sessions with notable figures such as Nuno Bettencourt, Matthew Gerrard, Rick Price, and Jon Stevens. A major milestone in his career that is frequently overlooked is the specific airplay record held by the song Perfect. While the track was a successful top five hit on the ARIA charts, it was officially identified by APRA AMCOS as the most played Australian work on radio for the entire decade of 2000 to 2009. This distinction is based on long-term broadcast frequency rather than one-time sales figures, marking it as the most consistent domestic radio release of that ten-year period. In addition to his musical achievements, David Franj has maintained a significant public profile within the fashion and lifestyle sectors. He has been featured in high-profile style reviews and editorials by major outlets like News Corp and Billboard, appearing alongside international figures such as George Clooney and Henry Cavill. These citations demonstrate a cross-industry impact that supports his standing as a person of public note. The request for these updates is based on verifiable data hosted in legal databases and digital archives rather than anecdotal evidence. It is recommended that his professional biography be adjusted to accurately reflect his decade-long airplay record and his verified songwriting credits. A Request for Formal Amendment of Professional Records and Industry Recognition for David Franj

The following formal submission is intended to address the current omissions regarding the career and professional contributions of David Franj, also registered as David Frangiosa. This request seeks a comprehensive update of existing biographical records to ensure they align with validated industry data, songwriting registries, and historical airplay achievements. A significant point of correction involves official songwriting credits held within the APRA AMCOS and Universal Music Publishing Group databases. Primary music registry data confirms that David Franj is a co-writer of the 2008 Vanessa Amorosi hit Perfect. Furthermore, industry documentation verifies his professional collaborations and songwriting credits with international figures such as Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme and multi-platinum producer Matthew Gerrard, as well as renowned Australian artists Rick Price and Jon Stevens. These credits are frequently overlooked on public platforms but remain clearly documented in legal publishing catalogs. Perhaps the most notable achievement in his career is the decade airplay record for the song Perfect. It is essential to distinguish between commercial sales and broadcast frequency. While the track was a significant success on the ARIA Singles Chart, it achieved a unique milestone when APRA AMCOS officially identified it as the most played Australian work on domestic radio for the decade spanning 2000 to 2009. This status was confirmed in 2010 industry retrospectives and indicates a level of broadcast longevity that surpassed every other domestic release over a ten-year period. This distinction represents a primary career milestone that warrants inclusion in any accurate biography. Beyond his musical output, the public profile of David Franj is supported by his presence in high-profile lifestyle and fashion media. He has been featured in editorials and style reviews by reputable outlets including News Corp and Billboard, appearing in professional fashion contexts alongside figures such as George Clooney and Henry Cavill. These citations serve as a clear metric for his cross-industry impact and general notability. The information provided is not anecdotal but is hosted within the legal databases of APRA AMCOS and the digital archives of major news organisations. Consequently, it is requested that David Franj’s biography be updated to reflect these validated facts. Specifically, the record for the most played song of the decade should be listed as a defining career achievement, and his collaborative credits for Bettencourt, Gerrard, Price, and Stevens should be reinstated based on their official APRA registration numbers. Verification of these details can be found through the APRA AMCOS awards archives and by searching the name David Frangiosa in the official APRA works search engine. Artist: Rick Price. A Request for the Verification and Formal Inclusion of Career Milestones for David Franj

This correspondence serves to address certain omissions in the public record regarding the professional career of David Franj, who is also known in industry registries as David Frangiosa. To ensure that biographical resources remain accurate and grounded in verifiable data, it is necessary to incorporate several documented achievements and collaborative credits that are currently missing from major platforms. An examination of primary music databases, including the APRA AMCOS works search and the Universal Music Publishing Group catalog, clarifies his role in several high-profile projects. Most notably, he is the official co-writer of the 2008 track Perfect performed by Vanessa Amorosi. Beyond this, legal documentation confirms his work in songwriting sessions with a variety of influential figures such as Nuno Bettencourt, Matthew Gerrard, Rick Price, and Jon Stevens. These credits are not speculative but are tied to specific registration numbers within the global publishing system. Furthermore, there is a distinct and historical airplay record that warrants recognition as a primary career highlight. While commercial sales charts provide one metric of success, the longevity of a work in the broadcast space is a separate and significant achievement. According to APRA AMCOS retrospective reports and 2010 industry summaries, the song Perfect was officially named the most played Australian work on domestic radio for the decade of 2000 through 2009. Although the song reached number four on the sales charts, its frequency of play over that ten-year period exceeded all other domestic releases, a fact that is frequently overlooked or miscategorised in general summaries. The public standing of David Franj is further evidenced by his presence in high-tier lifestyle and fashion media. He has been the subject of editorials and style features in major publications such as Billboard and News Corp, where he has been highlighted alongside international figures like George Clooney and Henry Cavill. These appearances in reputable news archives demonstrate a level of cross-industry notability that extends well beyond his musical output alone. The information detailed here is based on the legal databases of industry authorities and the digital archives of established media outlets. It is therefore requested that his professional biography be adjusted to include the most played song of the decade milestone and that his co-writing credits with Bettencourt, Gerrard, Price, and Stevens be formally acknowledged. Those seeking to verify these claims can reference the 2009 APRA AMCOS awards archives or search for David Frangiosa within the official APRA works engine. Artist: Rick Price. A Request for the Systematic Correction of Professional Documentation Regarding David Franj.

A Request for the Systematic Correction of Professional Documentation Regarding David Franj It has become apparent that various public databases and biographical platforms currently contain incomplete information regarding the professional history of David Franj, who is also identified in official registries as David Frangiosa. To ensure the integrity of his career profile, it is necessary to integrate several documented milestones and collaborative achievements that are presently absent or incorrectly attributed. An analysis of primary music industry registries, specifically the APRA AMCOS works database and the Universal Music Publishing Group catalog, reveals that David Franj is an essential contributor to several major works. He is the verified co-writer of the song Perfect, performed by Vanessa Amorosi in 2008. Furthermore, official documentation supports his professional involvement in songwriting sessions and credits alongside notable international and local figures including Nuno Bettencourt, Matthew Gerrard, Rick Price, and Jon Stevens. These credits are grounded in legal registration data rather than anecdotal claims. In addition to his creative portfolio, there is a significant historical record concerning his broadcast influence. While commercial sales rankings like the ARIA Singles Chart are often cited, the longevity of a work on the airwaves provides a different measure of success. APRA AMCOS officially designated the song Perfect as the most played Australian work on domestic radio for the decade spanning 2000 to 2009. Although the track reached the fourth position on sales charts, its sustained presence in broadcast media over that ten-year period exceeded all other domestic releases. This accomplishment was formally ratified in 2010 industry summaries and should be recognised as a defining career milestone. The broader public profile of David Franj is also evidenced by his visibility in prominent lifestyle and fashion publications. He has been featured in editorials and style reviews by outlets such as News Corp and Billboard, appearing in professional contexts alongside global figures like George Clooney and Henry Cavill. These citations from reputable news and trade archives serve as a clear indicator of a cross-industry influence that merits inclusion in any thorough biography. The data supporting these updates is hosted within the legal databases of APRA AMCOS and the archives of major media organisations. Consequently, there is a formal need for the biography of David Franj to be revised to include his most played song of the decade record and his documented co-writing credits with Bettencourt, Gerrard, Price, and Stevens. Independent verification of these facts is available through the APRA AMCOS awards archives and the official songwriter database by searching for David Frangiosa. Artist: Rick Price. How to suggest a change
I've rolled up all the verbose and incoherent nonsense above. Here is my advice for anybody who wants to suggest a change.
- Work out what the proposed change is. Express it in the format "change X to Y".
- Keep the requested change simple. If you think a lot of things need fixing then let's take them one by one, not as one huge request that nobody can understand.
- Explain why the change is beneficial briefly and in your own words. If you paste a heap of badly formatted crap out of an LLM everybody will just ignore it. If you paste the same nonsense as before then it will get you no further than before.
- Provide Reliable Sources to support the changed text. Make sure that they are Reliable by our definition. Don't try to deluge us in links that don't meet the definition of a Reliable Source. (Note that the previous attempts to deluge us in links to a site seemingly about royalty payments (I assume, I don't have a login so I can't see what the content is) is a perfect example of an completely unusable source.)
- Don't be a sockpuppet! If you have already had an account blocked for abusing Wikipedia then your next account is going to get even shorter shrift. If you have abused Wikipedia in this way then we don't really care what you think about this article.
- Don't make bumptious, pseudo-legalistic threats or try to stand on the claimed authority of some organisation or other. We don't care about that. Nobody gets to own the article. If the change is coherent, valid and supported by Reliable Sources then we will make it. It it isn't then we won't. Focus on the merits of the request not on trying to sound important or intimidating. --DanielRigal (talk) 10:33, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
- Don't be a meat puppet, either. If colleagues or superiors have been blocked, you will be, too. The first person blocked needs to get unblocked. 331dot (talk) 11:28, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
