David Davies (swimmer)

[edit]

This fellow falls under Olympian Bio articles. He was born in, lives in & participated for Britain. Therefore he's a British swimmer. GoodDay (talk) 23:02, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

That he is Welsh is verified by many reliable sources who are well aware he has competed for Great Britain. The Times call him a Welshman here as does the BBC (twice in the first two paragraphs) here. Davies' sponsors (Welsh Power) say here “We are very proud to sponsor David Davies, the Welsh Olympic silver medallist swimmer”. He was even the Welsh flagbearer at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. His disamb page should conform to his article, which has him as Welsh in the Lead. Daicaregos (talk) 14:58, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Last time I checked, Wales was within the United Kingdom. Anyways, whatever's decided at David Davies (swimmer) article, may be reflected here. GoodDay (talk) 18:08, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
