Bishop David CREMIN is still alive

I am a relative of Bishop David. He is still alive.

I have tried to correct people editing this page who are quoting a source which is wrong. However it keeps getting changed back to say he is deceased.

His elderly sister died aged 100 (Sister Monica) last week and someone when hearing the news of her death got it mixed up and though it was uncle David instead, so I assume this is why the catholic hierarchy page got edited in error.

He is living a quiet life, and elderly but he is still very much alive.

So this page putting a date of death is u true and upsetting to his family and friends.

I celebrated Easter with him on Sunday with the rest of our extended family. So you can take this as a source directly from a close relative.

I'm glad to learn that Bishop Cremin is alive. The report of his death is due to a concelebrant at the 10:30 a.m. Easter Mass celebrated by Archbishop Fisher. In the Roman canon, the Commemoration of the Dead is made after the consecration and the priest who read that prayer began by mentioning Bishop Cremin's name. I heard a priest got mixed up, it was is sister who died last week aged 100, she was a nun based in the UK, Sister Monica who has sadly left us.

I had Easter lunch with Bishop David on Sunday with the rest of our extended family, which was the day after this mass.

Please take this as confirmation he is still alive.

Appreciate if someone could correct this page & any other erroneous content claiming he died.
