Likely fake views/view botting on David's music videos. Should the "4,000,000+ views" claim in the article be deleted? (And likely conflict on interest)

[edit]

In my opinion:

(Conflict of interest to start: User:Landplane123 who created the article and provides lots of details is obviously David or somebody managing David and has profile warnings against COI. From his user history, he creates very elaborate wiki pages for obscure artists which appears to be some form of business)

This page (likely created by his agency) touts that he has over 4,000,000 views already in 2026 (it's only April!), however in my opinion:

These videos are obviously view-botted.

For instance, the video "I Am Not A Robot (Official Lyric Video) - David Bluefield" has 1,143,977 views, yet only has 517 likes, and 9 comments. This would mean only 0.0452% of the people who viewed the video pressed like, and is essentially statistically impossible and a known metric for detecting view botting. (Comments can be filtered, likes cannot, so I used that value for fairness. Although comments are appearing just fine so they are not filtered anyways)

Additionally, you can see the videos inbetween these videos that receive view botting, and rely only on natural engagement, are getting less than 900 views each. (NINE HUNDRED)

Additionally, the 2 newest music videos have not been view botted and are sitting with less than 600 views each despite releasing over a week ago. Very unnatural for an artist who claims to be very popular. Music videos are consistently getting view botted, yet the videos inbetween and the newest music videos that haven't been yet, make it doubly obvious. I have just dealt with your unsubstantiated accusations against User:Landplane123 at WP:COIN. You make them here even more strongly, and again with no evidence. Please see the note I have just left on your talk page. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:50, 26 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
