Is data portability limited to "personal data"

Yes, a user has the right of access only to his/her own data. In fact, porting data belonging to other parties would rightfully be considered illegal.
On the question of other jurisdictions, yes, it would be fine if there were any legislation there. However, currently only the European Union and Switzerland have such legislation. We could add a note that some of it has extraterritorial implications. Would that help alleviate the perceived deficit in the article? Seniorexpat (talk) 21:02, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

Adding new jurisdictions
[edit]There is great potential for adding new jurisdictions. For a start there is the article on Privacy law. However, that page was done as part of a college project, and keeping any such a page updated is a huge task. Seniorexpat (talk) 09:24, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
