I've removed the reference to Barker playing with the Louisiana Repertory Jazz Ensemble, which he was not usually with. I don't understand why this would be put in, especially when Barkers' own band and groups and venues he was especially associated with aren't mentioned. -- Infrogmation 04:55, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Do You Feel My Leg?"

[edit]

I am searching for a recording and / or sheet music w/ lyrics to this song, which I've been told is a Danny Barker song. Anyone know about this? Thanks. heatherfrazier@hotmail.com 70.186.177.217 (talk) 14:05, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes certainly it was, recorded famously by Blu Lu and later Danny. Though you mean "Don't You Feel My Leg". -- Infrogmation (talk) 22:55, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Danny Barker Was In No Way A Zydeco Musician.

[edit]

Very simply, not every musician who utilizes Creole patois is from western Louisiana, or performs Zydeco. ~2026-97932 (talk) 20:08, 5 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
