Edit war
[edit]After I published my edit with the summary Bro the scout died today was there any edit war like I saw some vandalism and some mini edit war over nationality — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keechak9999 (talk • contribs) 08:15, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
Berber Jew not Berber
[edit]He calls himself Berber Jew. https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/us-news/who-is-daniel-siad-epstein-traffickers-photo-with-woody-allen-emails-with-jean-luc-brunel-viral-101770151391105.html ~2025-42920-30 (talk) 17:22, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
- Algerian with cultural background Jewish. He must have been protected by wicked people like quite some similar perpetrators in earlier years. ~2026-26276-07 (talk) 21:14, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
- Source does state that he referred to himself as a Berber Jew. There is a Wikipedia page for this identity and the diaspora as well. See Berber Jews, it’s relevant. Cedar777 (talk) 10:35, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
Cultural Background
[edit]This guy is not "Swedish-French", isn't he? Sources say he is Algerian with Jewish background, and that he closely cooperated with 'Jeffrey Epstein'.~2026-26276-07 (talk) 21:07, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
Repetition and structure
[edit]Epstein is mentioned in almost every paragraph which suggests repetitiveness and a need for a revised structure. Jontel (talk) 11:43, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- Someone's trolling. ~2026-29165-94 (talk) 13:07, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- Someone should do a full rewrite of this article. Jontel (talk) 17:28, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
Lede is All Wrong
[edit]Siad also reported as a fashion photographer, project manager for a Russian fashion television channel, and financial consultant, with residences in Stockholm and ties to Paris and Barcelona.
The grammar and syntax of this sentence is wrong. "reported" by who? Self-reported, meaning he claimed he was these things, or reported in a newspaper, or what? Very poor word choice and the person that put this sentence as the 3rd sentence in the Lede should avoid editing in a language they are not familiar with.
He was not charged in relation to Jeffrey Epstein's crimes prior to his death.
The fact that he was investigated, (but not charged) should be included in this sentence.
The Lede is intended to invite the Reader to continue reading, but instead this poorly-constructed Lede promises that the rest of the Article will be similarly problematic, and discourages the Reader from continuing to read. Question is whether or not this was intentional. Intentionally sabotaging what would otherwise be an interesting and frequently-read Article is a form of censorship.~2026-38645-73 (talk) 19:39, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- It is spelled lead e.g. Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section. Jontel (talk) 17:26, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
To add to article
[edit]Basic information to add to this article: cause of death. ~2026-37846-32 (talk) 01:47, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- The lawyer said Siad died of a heart attack. Official cause of death is still TBD. Unless and until a reliable source publishes something else, article is up to date. Cedar777 (talk) 10:54, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
What does this sentence mean ???
[edit]What does this sentence from the current version of this article mean? We should use standard English grammar.
- Coverage highlighted potential exploitation concerns in Poland - Prime Minister Donald Tusk to announce an investigative body.
Should it read as follows?
- Media coverage highlighted the potential that Siad had exploited young women and girls in Poland, prompting the Polish prime minister, Donald Tusk to announce that he had appointed a body to investigate Siad.

CNN interview
[edit]Shouldn't we mention (and link) this important June 11, 2026 CNN interview with Daniel Siad (by Katie Polglase), during which he denied any complicity with Epstein's trafficking operation, but during which he sweated extremely profusely?

French investigation
[edit]Why doesn't the current version of this Wikipedia article mention the French investigation into Siad?
Quote from the article:
- Siad was himself under investigation in France over allegations of rape and human trafficking, which he denied.

- This basic info and several sources, including the Al Jazeera coverage, have been added to the article. Cedar777 (talk) 19:25, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
More neutral photo sought
[edit]It is not usual to use a photo of the article's subject smoking and drinking. Jontel (talk) 06:20, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
Unsourced content
[edit]If Siad expressed disapproval of Brunel or was connected to a record company &/or specific individuals, we would need valid inline citations to published WP:RS supporting those content additions. Cedar777 (talk) 09:21, 10 August 2026 (UTC)
