Please fix this horrible mistake. Whoever wrote this article about Daniel Greene, the singer, somehow deleted the article about Daniel Greene, the New York artist. We now need a disambiguation page to include both. It isn't cool to make an article disappear by writing about something else that just happens to have the same title.

OK, I took the trouble to separate the two Daniel Greenes with a disambiguation page, creating a "Daniel Greene (fine artist)" page to hold the info on the artist. Now it appears that the recent change to the original "Daniel Greene" page was vandalism, which has been reverted. This means there are now 3 pages: (1) A "Daniel Greene" page which talks about the artist; (2) A "Daniel Greene (fine artist)" page with the same info; (3) A "Daniel Greene (pop singer)" page which discusses the pop singer.

I know nothing about the singer, but I've been led (or misled) to believe it is a real person. I don't really care one way or the other, but if this new entry has been totally a work of vandalism, please consider deleting the new "Daniel Greene (pop singer)" page, as well as the disambiguation page. Or inform me that it needs doing and I'll vote them for deletion myself. What a fine mess this has turned out to be. Pacific1982 15:11, May 1, 2005 (UTC)

Why can't we fix the copyright infringement problem by simply doing a revert to version 05/01/2005? Pacific1982 18:58, 28 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

OK, I wrote a revised version of this article to fix the copyright issue. It is essentially an earlier version (revert) of this article which I had written in its entirety, but with an additional sentence. Other Wikipedians should feel free to build on this version. Your temp article is now in place, and the copyvio version is deleted. Thanks for writing it. Chick Bowen 22:01, 15 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

With articles on Daniel J. Greene a politician, Danny Greene Irish gangster, and Daniel Greene (fine artist) why isn't Daniel Greene a disambugation page rather than a redirect for only one of the Greene's? IrishGuy 18:31, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
