Size

"...is the capital and largest city of Syria"

The capital yes, apparently, and the article suggests that the Damascus urban area as a whole contains 5 million people – but the Aleppo article suggests that it is a larger city than Damascus proper. Harfarhs (talk) 21:11, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

Political administration of the city?

I think information about how the administration of the city works should be added. Who's the mayor, how is he elected (according to the german article he's named by ministor of interior but thats probably before fall of assad, etc. Oliklixer (talk) 19:49, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
