Map shows wrong location

[edit]

The pin on the map appears to be located in the Haute Guinee or Guinee Forestiere region, when in fact it should be located northwest of Mamou in the Fouta Djallon region. Perhaps the person who placed the pin confused it with Dabola, which is located east of Mamou? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.227.7.119 (talk) 05:39, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The map used is one for another village named Dalaba (near Kankan), but it is a very small place compared to the city of Dalaba in the Dalaba Prefecture (not Mamou Prefecture as stated - though it is in Mamou Region). Since this article is about the city in Mamou region, this map needs to be replaced. Btw it is cross-referenced to Dalaba Prefecture which shows a map with the correct location... Also, by air the city is only 200km and about 280km by road from Conakry. The other Dalaba (village) is 474km from Conakry by air, and about 635 by road. This needs cleaning up, including the map.Ptilinopus (talk) 14:13, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
