Unconventional dab page
[edit]As there are no uses of DISD which are not Texas Independent School Districts, it seems reasonable to have this dab page as a compromise between redirecting DISD straight to that list (which might be puzzling) and copying that entire list onto this page (waste of effort). I suspect that it's only by chance that just 6 of the articles actually use DISD in their text and that the others are just as likely to be known by the abbreviation. There was discussion of this at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Disambiguation#DABs_with_only_one_link. PamD (talk) 23:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- They have since opened a German school in Dubai using the acronym DISD WhisperToMe (talk) 17:58, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
