[edit]This page on the cymothoidae does a good job talking about its behaviors, specifically where it talks about how it behaves around fish and in the lack of the presence of a female. It specifies what they do to their fish host, and mentions how they will develop into a female if there are no males around. However, it doesn’t talk about how it reproduces despite mentioning these sexes. It doesn’t talk about how these parasites reproduce or their habits involving anything like this. It also doesn’t mention anything about the description of the cymothoidae. It doesn’t bring up the way that it looks; for example, it doesn’t talk about if this organism comes in different colors or different sizes. It also doesn’t talk about the average size of this organism. This page is also missing it’s interactions with predators. It doesn’t talk about whether the cymothoidae is hunted by any other organisms or if it needs to avoid certain fish due to this. It also doesn’t talk about how it interacts with other parasites or whether it needs to compete with them for hosts. This Wikipedia page is also missing any specific areas it lives geographically. Overall, I think this page could use more detail on a description, distribution, and ecology of the cymothoidae. L.Alice2 (talk) 07:56, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
