Ab Fab

Cybill was NOT an American re-make of AbFab. Just because the show had a bestfriend and a daughter doesn't make it a re-make... the characters and stories aren't even close. There was an American version planned (I think with Roseanne Barr's backing) but was canceled when it was still in planning. I think the AbFab references should be removed.

I agree that I fail to see much resemblance to AB FAB, maybe it should be added as a footnote, but definitely not in the first sentence describing the show. Dollvalley 08:06, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

There is a reference to another show with a tedious link to AbFab further dowmn the article. I have not cut this (but I think it perhaps should go) although I did remove the adjective "campy" as I see that only as an opinion. Not necessarily one I would agree with--TimothyJacobson (talk) 12:58, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Guest Star Box

Fair use rationale for Image:Cybill logo.gif

Image:Cybill logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page.
