Custom wheels come in a wide variety of sizes and widths as well. If you choose to go to a larger size wheel and tire, which is also called plus sizing, you can typically go to a larger section width or "footprint". This typically provides improved additional handling charecterists as well improved braking distance and quicker response.Custom wheels are now produced with numerous construction materials and procedures. Some of the materials and production methods offered include: steel, aluminum, magnesiuom, composite, one piece, two piece, three piece, low pressure cast, gravity cast, and forged. With weights typically lighter than factory offered orignal equipment wheels, there are many benefits to adding a set of custom wheels.
