[edit]

I just performed two minor edits, but that doesn't mean that I approve of the article as it currently is. The two main changes necessary are:

  • The article needs independent references to show the notability of the organization. See Wikipedia:Notability
The organisation is mentioned e.g. in the Oxford Dictionary of Modern Design. Cumulus is practically the only international organisation of art, design and media schools in the world. Teemu (talk) 21:07, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
I have included several independent references to the article. Teemu (talk) 14:00, 26 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Would a shorter name, "Cumulus Association" be better? Teemu (talk) 21:07, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
That's a better name. Not primarily because it's shorter, but because it meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Article_titles#Deciding_on_an_article_title. The one thing I don't like about it is that it apears to be never used by the association itself. But if you like, I can rename the article to "Cumulus Association". ◄ Sebastian 17:46, 23 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Sebastian. In the The statutes for the Cumulus the short name used about it is Cumulus Association. Here: https://www.cumulusassociation.org/homepage/statutes/ Teemu (talk) 15:30, 2 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
I am unable to locate a listing for the organization in the Oxford Dictionary of Modern Design. It would be ideal to include a link directly to the relevant entry if one exists. Otherwise, the reference should be removed. 24.218.28.119 (talk) 14:36, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
