Definition of "Cuento"
[edit]I'm not sure this article really covers the more common and most literary significant use of "cuento", which is a type of short story that was foundational to Latin American writing in the 20th century and is exemplified by figures like Julio Cortazar or Borges. The Spanish-Language Wikipedia has a much better article on what a cuento is, one which describes both it's historical folkloric basis (such as this article) but then focuses most of its attention on its more impactful later use in the modern day. ~2026-24070-77 (talk) 05:21, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
