The disambiguator "(Opera)" ought to be in lower case. Better, it could be omitted altogether: Cubanacan. Further, Spanish, and some sources for this opera, notably The New York Times, use an accent, "Cubanacán", as does our article Opera in Cuba. So I suggest to move this article to Cubanacán. If an article about the location of that name in Playa, Havana, should ever be written, a hat note would suffice. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 01:04, 2 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have removed the disambiguator "(Opera)". As to the name of the opera, there is some ambiguity. The neighborhood Cubanacán unquestionably has an accent. However, the title of the opera as written in the Program and some other sources have it written without an accent. I will check with the librettist/producer and follow his preference.
