Edit request: Bite force

There's a couple parts that need to be cleaned up in this section.

There's a sentence that states "A 5.2 m (17 ft) long saltwater crocodile has been confirmed as having the strongest bite force ever recorded for an animal in a laboratory setting" and references a news article that says as much, but the paper that the article is about didn't examine any crocodiles that size and that bite force came from a significantly smaller 4.59 m crocodile.

It goes on to say "Taking the measurements of several 5.2 m (17 ft) crocodiles as reference, the bite forces of 6-m individuals were estimated at 7,700 lbf (34,000 N)" which references a similar news article, but again that isn't how the study reached that estimate.

I'd suggest ditching the references to the news articles entirely and just using Erickson's actual study StuckArse (talk) 05:13, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

Among Esperantists, a crocodile (krokodilo) is someone who speaks their native language among Esperantists when Esperanto would be appropriate. Hence, the verb krokodili. Also, the opposite verb, malkrokodili, means to speak Esperanto among non-Esperantists when it's inappropriate and annoying. " Unlike other reptiles, a crocodile has a cerebral cortex. " A lot of sources seem to say other reptiles, not just crocodilians, do have a cerebral cortex too. ~2026-38662-45 (talk) 16:13, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
