It is improperly biased to refer to some of these traditions as religion and others as mythology, thus implying the former may be legitimate and the latter certainly fiction. If the indigenous tradition is "mythology," then call Christianity mythology. If Christianity is "religion," then call the indigenous beliefs religion too.
