Use example
[edit]I’ve been doing some reverse engineering work on Eye of the Beholder DOS audio data formats (across available AdLib/PC speaker/Sound Blaster related assets in the game archives), and I have not found any evidence of Creative Voice (VOC) files or PCM-based Sound Blaster audio in any edition of the DOS game data I’ve inspected.
The current citation for the example (movAX13h's "Dr. Riptide Dissected" repository) actually documents VOC usage in In Search of Dr. Riptide, not Eye of the Beholder. Because of that mismatch, I updated the example game in the article so that it matches the cited source and avoids implying VOC usage in a title not supported by the reference.
If there are reliable sources specifically documenting VOC usage in Eye of the Beholder, it may be worth adding them separately, but I was unable to find any in the game data itself or in existing references. ~2026-25151-74 (talk) 05:36, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
