Cheryl's Craig Slocum Website list's Craig as playing Lou DiMato on Ryan's Hope 1976-1977. This is false. That was played by Carlo Grasso, who is certainly not Craig Slocum, as he continued acting very infrequently in that role after Craig's death, and if you go and view episodes of Ryan's Hope on Youtube to confirm, you can clearly see that Carlo Grasso is not Craig Slocum. It is certainly quite possible Craig Slocum acted under the name of Carlo Grassi. There is a 1969 very low budget, obscure "film" attributed to that name on imdb. I have not been able to corroborate the name Carlo Grassi with original primary sources (i.e. other than some web site or book saying so). Because of this false attribution on that web site, it does call into question the accuracy of some of the other uncredited or minor appearances listed on Cheryl's Craig Slocum Website that do not appear elsewhere. It is possible she simply confused Carlo Grassi and Carlo Grasso, but there could be other sources of confusion or mistaken attribution at play as well. The Barnabas & Company book contains some content on Craig Slocum, but it lists Cheryl's Craig Slocum web site as a source for some of its information, and that web site is a flawed though well-intentioned source. Thus, so information that may appear in that book, e.g. regarding minor uncredited roles, possibly the name of Carlo Gassi, may be suspect as wellTokionight (talk) 14:44, 18 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
