- that let the encapsidation in lambda protein getting a very efficient vector in the first infection but that can't exit from the cell and infect more.
cos sequence
[edit]I am not sure exactly what this is, just googled it and am inserting my best guess. However. the concept of "cos sequence" seems central to the definition of a cosmid, so I hope someone will correct-expand my work. --VonWoland 02:25, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
