Glucocorticoid Potency
[edit]Are we sure it’s accurate that corticosterone has “only weak glucocorticoid…potency”? In the Greenspan textbook, it says: “ Corticosterone and aldosterone have substantial affinity for the glucocorticoid receptor; however, their plasma concentrations are normally much lower than that of cortisol, and thus these steroids do not have significant physiologic glucocorticoid effects.“ But I haven’t been able to find an explicit estimate of its affinity to confirm https://a.co/5zIqMPM Pabnau (talk) 14:00, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
