[edit]Whilst I could find no source that directly states that this was introduced with 10.3, web.archive.org reveals no mention of Core Audio in the apple.com pages detailing 10.2 (2002), but a whole page from when 10.3 is current about the virtues of Core Audio. 83.89.96.225 (talk) 11:59, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Initial release year?
[edit]The statements "introduced in Mac OS X 10.0 (Cheetah)" (under "History") and "Initial release 2003" (infobox) are incoherent. Mac OS X 10.0 (Cheetah) was introduced in 2001, not 2003. I'd also like to learn more about the history of Core Audio beyond that mysterious introduction date. Mottenkiste (talk) 20:24, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
