MEDMOS
[edit]Regarding these edits, Doc, Characteristics is in MEDMOS for a reason (articles like this one), and I am opposed to an infobox. Prevalence needs to come earlier for this topic because of misperceptions about coprolalia-- the order of sections in MEDMOS is a suggestion only. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 04:11, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Controversy surrounding coprolalia
[edit]There are Tourettes/copralalia sufferers that claim that copralalia is a made up condition intended to stigmatise people whom suffer from Tourettes and to portray them as undesirables.
Coprolalia is nothing more than vocal tics. People with Tourettes that do vocal tics do NOT only say profanities, the claim they they only say profanities is false made up by the pro-eugenics medical community. HardeeHar (talk) 14:56, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
Overlap with Tourette's Syndrome
[edit]129.81.255.168, in this edit you added a lot of information that is specific to management of tics in Tourette's. While there may be significant overlap between this article and that one, it is not clear why all of this should be repeated here when it is more relevant in either the Tourette's article or even tic disorders. This article is about a very specific type/characteristic of vocal tic, and information about tics in general or other vocal tics not of this character do not seem particularly relevant.
