Most of his vital records report his middle name was "Burton" rather than "Barton". His early vital records indicated he was born June 9, 1897, not 1898. Later vital records use the 1898 date. He likely shaved a year off his age at some point. Cbl62 (talk) 17:41, 22 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
