"Potential Violation"

[edit]

Hi @Praxidicae @SimLibrarian,

I was wondering if you could help. This page is about a company I ran some years ago and to which I still own the rights to. I note the warning about a potential violation which I would like to see if we can have removed.

I think that the page may have been generated by an ex-employee as the accuracy is very high. I think maybe that someone wanted to make sure that the company's achievements weren't lost in time. Coolgorilla really did create some of the world's first software for iPods and played an early role in iPod and iPhone apps.

I was wondering what can be done to address the notice at the top of the page? The article is very accurate and the citations back everything up. If it helps I still have a file of screenshots from some of the press coverage we got over the years and could probably reach out to the relevant individual's at Apple who worked with us at the time.

I don't think there's any doubt that Coolgorilla should have a page on Wikipedia but I'd much prefer that there were no question about its legitimacy.

Is this something either of you can help with?

Thanks very much for any help. Coolgorilla (talk) 12:51, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Unfortunately, this is outside the scope of my editing knowledge and authority. I suggest visiting the Help Desk, where editors can address questions like this. In the meantime, I made a few style edits to the article. Thank you for wanting to improve Wikipedia! SimLibrarian (talk) 05:46, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
