Executions
[edit]I've removed the names of the men whose executions had nothing to do with the 1846 mutiny, as it's otherwise a bit misleading. Moreover, I've removed John Booth as no man by that name was executed at Norfolk Island, and Abraham Farrer, who though he received the sentence of 'death recorded', he instead received another sentence of transportation to life at Norfolk Island.
- John Jackson, who was hanged for attempting to murder Aaron Price and Captain Hamilton in October 1845
- John Liddall, who was hanged for attempting to murder fellow prisoner Henry Clarke in October 1846, and whose accomplice was Bernard McCarthy
- John Gardner, who attempted to murder overseer King in 1845/6
- John Booth

Strength of rioters
[edit]The figure of 1100 mutineers in the article is sourced to The Argus 14 August 1846. This is at variance with 1600 cited in a 1957 article in The Argus. I've also seen another estimate of 600. Bjenks (talk) 17:36, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
