Why not "walkalong"?

I thought the generic name for this was "walkalong glider". Why the obscure name "Controllable-slope glider"? "Walkalong" is way more descriptive and meaningful. Is it trademarked or something?

Okay, I saw the walkalong glider article. Same thing with the same picture. I say this article should be deleted.
