Why was construx discontinued?--64.230.127.239 14:18, 8 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I can't believe this article is so small. This was my favorite building toy when I was growing up... I liked it even more than Capsela, K'Nex, or Lego. (Although I never had the really cool, expensive Capsela sets.) But Construx were cool because everything you built ended up being either a space station or a place for the hamster to run around (and pee) in. (Corby 08:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC))Reply

LOL. I agree. Looking around at these pictures on the net brings back all kinds of memories. This article needs some work.

Expanding this page

[edit]

I'm trying to figure out how to expand this page without violating WP:NOR, given that my main source is the tens of thousands of Construx sitting in a pile next to me... John Darrow (talk) 10:28, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Should this article mention Mega Construx?

[edit]

Construx was discontinued in 1988, briefly revived by Mattel

Mega Brands, Inc., formerly Mega Bloks, Inc., is a Canadian children's toy company currently owned by Mattel.

Mega Construx ("By the people behind Mega Bloks" according to megaconstrux dot com) look more like Mega Bloks than Construx to me, though i wonder if the name might mean there are some compatible parts (like some Zaks had LEGO-style connectors).

I agree, based on the pictures I saw they look nothing like Construx and should probably be treated as a separate entity.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.98.246.9 (talk) 19:33, 27 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Picture

[edit]

Does anyone have any better pictures? Looks like someone just posted a pic of themselves with something they built... Ideally picture should include several individual pieces of various sizes possible along with a ruler to show scale.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.98.246.9 (talk) 19:36, 27 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Photo Date Impossible?

[edit]

The kid is wearing a TNG com badge, which premiered in late 1987, but the caption says this was 1986, which seems impossible. ~2026-83980 (talk) 03:20, 5 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
