Conrad Hotel Brussels human trafficking scandal

[edit]

Why was the edit on Conrad Hotel Brussels removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shroomer69 (talk • contribs) 10:50, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is wikinews as was stated in the edit history. If you want to post it there that's fine. Adding a short but to the hotel's article is fine. But taking over the corporation article for a raid on conditions that were not related to the hotel's staffing seems out of place. Vegaswikian (talk) 16:34, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Understood, thank you. I'm a beginner at this. However, the hotel itself is also involved as they are very likely to be prosecuted for non-assistance and that the hotel management were aware of the conditions of the employees. They are also colluding to censor the press. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shroomer69 (talk • contribs) 12:26, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request for minor updates

[edit]

Hi editors, on behalf of Hilton Worldwide via Coyne through my work at Beutler Ink, I am submitting this request with suggestions for editor review.

Request 1: The name of the property currently listed as "Conrad Washington, D.C." is "Conrad Washington DC" (no punctuation). This is evidenced by Architectural Record,[1] Travel Weekly,[2] and Philadelphia Gay News.[3] Unless there is a conflict with a Manual of Style, I propose removing the punctuation from the property title.

Request 2: I propose adding two hotels to the Future properties table. Conrad Corfu is scheduled to open in 2026, per Hotels Magazine[4] and Hilton's website.[5] Conrad Meia Praia Algarve is scheduled to open in 2027, per Travel Weekly[6] and Hilton's website.[7]

I avoid direct editing because of my conflict of interest, but I am hoping editors can make these updates on my behalf in order to make the article more accurate and up to date. Thanks again for considering these updates, Danilo Two (talk) 16:06, 3 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
