Request for wlinks
[edit]In the examples section, can we get wlinks to the defined entities and ? Tfdavisatsnetnet (talk) 13:52, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- OK, I think I have added the proper wlinks, please correct if I was wrong. Tfdavisatsnetnet (talk) 04:59, 6 July 2023 (UTC)
More examples, please
[edit]The three examples taken together seem to provide very little information about what conjugate points can be like.
The examples are a) the unit sphere S2 with its extremely well known conjugate points, which are all also cut points; b) euclidean space Rn with no conjugate points; and more generally c) manifolds of non-positive sectional curvature, which likewise have no conjugate points.
I hope someone knowledgeable about this subject can provide several more examples of conjugate points, including at least one where they do not coincide with cut points. ~2026-28336-51 (talk) 19:51, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
