Lead

• Recommend removing "the" from "the flowering plants".
  • Done.

Wood

• De-wikilink "wood" unless you can find a more specific target.
  • Done.

Distribution and ecology

• "75° north" should be in lower-case.
  • We agreed it should be North, this is the usual convention. We use lower case when it's just a direction.
    • We encountered this yesterday with Larch. It looks like it should be lower-case per Circles of latitude between the 70th parallel north and the 75th parallel north. In fact, it's the exact same sentence as from Larch. I've changed it for you.
• De-wikilink New Zealand and South Africa.
  • Done.

Economic importance

• Recommend changing UK to "United Kingdom", but they may just be a personal preference.
  • Done.

• Do we still have telegraph poles? Are they still called telegraph poles anywhere? In the U.S., they're called "telephone poles".
  • British English.
