Connection to the No 57 Property Tailoring Firm edit

[edit]

I am retired and as an hobby have been researching for the last few years a tailoring firm run by my ancestors between 1829 & 1985 - Cooling, Lawrence & Wells (CL&W). It went out of business in 1992 and was acquired by Davies & Son (no family connection) on Savile Row, still operating. The Family firm CL&W was significant in the history of tailoring in the area and I have been voluntarily giving talks on the history of the trade to students at a Savile Row Tailoring School to aid their learning and development. I have added this information to Wikipedia so a wider audience can also read it. I must apologise to fellow Wiki contributors. This has been my first contribution to Wikipedia and I incorrectly marked the edits as minor. I have since understood the distinction of marking edits as minor or not, so future edits will be classified correctly. Thanks for your understanding.
