[edit]The Standard reference (Golub, Van Loan) only explains addition and removal of rows or columns at the borders of the matrix. Is there anything known about a full rank one update of the UTV decomposition? So, can the UTV decomposition of (U T V + a b^T) be calculated in a quadratic amount of time?
