buildlist

[edit]

@Torrala83: hey Weatherman, nice job on the extension of the list down to 40m! I put a few amendments for your consideration (the hulls of the Derektor K4 and Britannia have been built for a while now so I put them on hold, I think that it is good to keep track of the hulls and keeping them on hold once they are built. In this regard I believe the Derecktor may be just about any rig, as a ketch proposal is also offered...). For the J, I added Tore Holm as a designer because he drew the lines, I also changed the shipyard because the Bloemsma-built hull has been moved to Vitters in Zwartsluis for outfitting, and I used this page to amend the figures. On the article page, for the J Hanuman, Gerry Dijkstra did not personally design the yacht, he retired sometime in 2003, so his company Dykstra & Partners did the naval architecture, maybe you should use that name instead? Moreover, to be a member of the J class, the original design lines from Charles E. Nicholson's 1936 drawings *have* to be used, so I would definitely mention him there as well. I cannot find references as to the carbonfiber build of Mirabella III (definitely a record if it were the case), was it not GRP? signed:Donan Raven (talk, contribs) 19:16, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
